Parker Ames – A direct descendant of Buddha, Parker Ames came out of the womb meditating. While he has failed to master sitting in the Lotus position, he has perfected the art of lying with his head in his mom’s lap. Parker spends his Sunday mornings doing the New York Times crossword puzzle in pen and writing his world-famous blog, “The Art of Zen-dom, or Being the Anti-Dixie.”
Dixie Ames – Touted as the next great outfield phenom, Dixie has dedicated her life to perfecting her ball skills. She’s also dedicated her mom’s life to that pursuit, but that’s another story. In her latest locker room interview, Dixie was quoted as saying, “Some say I’m OCD, I prefer to think I’m focused. Now, where’d my ball go?” She attributes her stamina to a steady diet of fried chikin, and has been known to mutter in her sleep, “Thro mor chikin.”
Digging for Home is Parker and Dixie’s first book.
